Iskanders worked out the destruction of an ammunition depot near Orenburg

Electronic missile launches took place during a bilateral exercise of the 41st combined-arms and 2nd Guards combined-arms armies of the Central Military District. According to the scenario of the exercise, the military discovered the crews of the Orlan-10 drones transmitting coordinates to the command post.

The missilemen carried out the deployment of the complexes from the march in unprepared positions. In addition, questions were worked out on checking the operability of missile systems and their reloading onto launchers using transport-charging machines.

The exercises take place on the territory of four training grounds in Siberia and the Volga region from 10 to 14 August. More than 12 thousand servicemen and 3 thousand military equipment take part in them.

On August 9, it was reported that the Russian Ministry of Defense tested a unique automated artillery control system (ACS) during exercises at the Kapustin Yar training ground, which made it possible to combine the Tornado-S and Iskander-M long-range missile systems.
